In Japan, a couple had gotten married who had happened to be players of Final Fantasy XI. The couple had the official support from Square's staff of FFXI (Julia, Destiny and Rembard) to have an official wedding in Vana'diel. The couple (Jar and Otoku) had a special wedding ring called "Marriage Ring" and the members from their LS (Link Shell) could use the special item "Cracker" (Confetti).
