Due to over population on some servers, Square is offering players the chance to "Shift" their characters to different servers. You will take your levels, your items (etc.). The only things you can't take are your linkshell(s)/pearl(s) and your map markers.

There will be an NPC called "World Shifter" that you can talk to from December 3rd at 10:00pm to December 18th at 3:00pm. After applying to be transferred, the actual movement of your character from your current server to the new server, will take place on December 19th.

However, you will NOT be able to choose your new world. The moves are as follows:

- Fenrir and Diablos players can move to Kujata.
- Unicorn and Carbuncle players can move to Bismarck.
- Odin and Ifrit players can move to Ixion.
- Gilgamesh and Caitsith players can move to Typhon.
- Siren and Ragnarok players can move to Kirin.
 

That is all for now. Presumably the other servers don't have the same population problem.
