Brief tidbit on FFXI In America

Square president Youichi Wada has confirmed that its network compatible RPG Final Fantasy XI is scheduled to begin testing in America within the next two months. While specifics regarding the American version remain largely undisclosed, Square has confirmed plans to release the game by the fall in America. When pressed for more details, Square representatives would only say to expect a formal announcement within the coming weeks. It's currently unknown whether both the PlayStation 2 and Windows versions of Final Fantasy XI will be released in America. Likewise, while Square has adopted a monthly subscription system for the game in Japan, pricing for the American market hasn't been finalized.
