Square has reportedly signed a deal with Japanese television service SkyPerfect TV to develop a television show based on the online RPG Final Fantasy XI. The show will be broadcast on 'Channel BB,' which is dedicated to video and online game related content. According to Square representatives, the television show will also be used to highlight the latest downloadable updates for Final Fantasy XI and introduce new players to the game. Scheduled to begin airing on January 15, it's currently unknown how many episodes of the show will be produced.
